A very large percentage of the world´s population lives terrible poverty..

There is very significant divide between the South and the North.Countries of central and South America,Africa and Asia have many problems with food,housing and health.The distribution of wealth is very unequal.

The industrialised countries of the North have only 35% of the world´s population but 90% of its income(money).People in the South suffer from poor health,a very poor diet and poor housing.The life expectancy of people in many countries is only 56 years,compared to 80 for tho se in Northern countries.

Starvation and disease are constant dangers.Children are particularly vulnarable and many die very young in poor countries.The world has serious problems,problrms everyone needs to think about.
